LabTech LabMS 3000 Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS)

In 2021, LabTech officially launched the LabMS 3000 Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS). This product embodies over 30 years of mass spectrometry research and development experience of LabTech’s founder, Dr. Ke Hu. Fully independently designed and developed, the instrument holds proprietary intellectual property rights.


The LabMS 3000 Series includes the entry-level LabMS 3000a, the mainstream LabMS 3000c, and the semiconductor-specific LabMS 3000s. This series features exceptional stability, reliability, simplicity, and flexibility, equipped with a durable ion source, a high-sensitivity and wide dynamic range detector, and a fourth-generation collision cell for effective control of polyatomic ion interferences. Since its debut, the series has attracted significant attention and positive feedback from users.


Notably, the LabMS 3000s, with its outstanding performance, successfully obtained SEMI S2 and SEMI E78 certifications in July 2021, making it the first domestically manufactured ICP-MS in China to achieve these recognitions. (Note: SEMI standards are international industry norms established by the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International association (SEMI) for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, flat panel display equipment, and materials suppliers, and are widely recognized as global benchmarks in the semiconductor industry.)

LabTech LabMS 5000 Inductively Coupled Plasma Tandem Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS/MS)

In 2023, LabTech officially launched the LabMS 5000 Inductively Coupled Plasma Tandem Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS/MS), a next-generation tandem quadrupole mass spectrometer developed on the solid foundation of the widely acclaimed LabMS 3000 ICP-MS. The LabMS 5000 inherits the high stability, robustness, and user-friendliness of the LabMS 3000, while introducing an advanced MS/MS mode for controlled and reliable interference removal, expanding its application range and improving analytical efficiency.


As LabTech's second major achievement following the release of its first single-quadrupole ICP-MS in 2021, the LabMS 5000 was developed by Dr. Ke Hu's mass spectrometry R&D team in just over a year — from project initiation, design, prototype, and trial units to commercial production — and successfully obtained SEMI S2 and SEMI E78 certifications as well.
