LabTech Lab Exhaust System

Lab Exhaust System with Variable Air Volume (VAV) Control

Key Features

Exhaust:
● Fume Hood Exhaust (Variable Frequency): All exhaust systems are equipped with variable frequency control, allowing individual on/off and control for each unit. This ensures energy-efficient operation and coordinated control with the laboratory’s make-up air system. Different exhaust treatment units are installed on the roof depending on the type of waste gas being processed.
● Instrument Exhaust (Independent): Stainless steel exhaust hoods (400×400 mm) with an airflow rate of no less than 500 m³/h; universal exhaust hoods with an airflow rate of no less than 200 m³/h. The fans are made of steel centrifugal blowers with sound-absorbing cotton inside the fan housing to minimize noise while meeting exhaust requirements. Exhaust fan units are suspended within the ceiling, with ducts leading to the outer wall and fitted with rainproof louvers. Motorized shut-off dampers are installed on the ducts to prevent backflow.
● Room General Exhaust: Continuous intermittent ventilation 24/7, with an air change rate of no less than 6 ACH (air changes per hour).

Make-Up Air:
● Laboratories requiring controlled pressure and comfort are equipped with dedicated make-up air systems.
